2004 Ford F-150 FORScan codes & mods
11th generation (2004–2008). Transitional networks: HS-CAN for the engine side, with older UBP and ISO buses for some body modules (UBP modules are not reachable with ELM327-type adapters). FORScan is useful for Ford-specific diagnostics, module self-tests and PATS key programming (Extended License and a working key required). Configuration mods are minimal.
We haven't found documented As-Built mods specific to the 2004 F-150. FORScan is still useful here for Ford-specific trouble codes, live data and service functions.
