Notes
Requires sensor hardware. Run the FORScan 'BdyCM LIN New Module Initialization' service function after writing. Spreadsheet says this also works on the 4.2-inch cluster.
How to apply it
- Back up every module's As-Built data and keep the files somewhere safe.
- Connect FORScan with a battery maintainer on, ignition ON and engine OFF.
- Open Configuration and Programming, choose the IPC module, open As-Built Format and edit only the digit described by the source.
- Write, follow any module reset prompt, cycle the ignition, then confirm the feature and check for new trouble codes.
